Art Auction Prototype App

This project was created as a part of Google’s UX Design Certificate program to create a prototype based on prompt that fixes an existing problem for users. I decided to design a Japanese Art Auction app with the basis of fixing the problem of people thinking online bidding is too much of a hassle. In order to make it more streamlined for users, I implemented a bid range option which functions as a way for users to bid in moderation by setting a mandatory budget so the user can’t overspend on an item. During the duration of this project, I conducted two usability studies on the low fidelity and high fidelity prototypes respectively to gauge user feedback and see what can be improved from the interface to including more options to accommodate users. This prototype was designed on figma and can be viewed here.
